An inbox agent that drafts freight quotes in minutes
The brief
Atlas receives hundreds of quote requests a week by email, each written differently. Sales reps spent hours copying details into spreadsheets before they could even price a shipment.
What I did
- 01
Built an agent that reads every incoming request, pulls out origin, destination, weight and dates, and flags anything missing.
- 02
Connected it to the company's rate sheets so it prices each route the same way their best rep would.
- 03
Designed a simple approval screen where reps review the draft, adjust it if needed and send it with one click. Nothing goes out without a person.
The result
Quotes now go out the same morning they arrive, and the sales team spends its time with customers instead of copying and pasting.
- to a draft quote, down from 3 hours
- 4 min
- saved by the sales team every week
- 20h
- of quotes approved by a person before sending
